Consl is a voice operated assistant that works alongside you. It doesn't try to fulfill every single role, but instead works with the same tools you use to achieve whatever task you give it.

Consl is inspired by the idea that the tools we use should be intuitive, and fun to use. Originally I just wanted to create my own personal assistant, the kind of Tony Stark Jarvis/Friday concept I used to love when the Iron Man movies came out. Over time this matured, and as I began using Consl more and more myself, I thought that others might also enjoy it.

The main idea behind Consl is that you can have one tool that works with you. You can ask it questions, you can annotate the screen in a way that feels intuitive and natural to the way we interact with machines, and you can use it for simple dictation. It can control your device in whichever way you want. It uses the apps you're using yourself. It can write notes based on your conversations. It can put together a playlist for you. It isn't meant to be a one-stop app, it's meant to be there when you need it, without requiring you to switch screens, apps, or modality.
